TLP Named One of the Top 10 Workplaces in Southeastern Wisconsin
May 26, 2010
Tailored Label Products was named one of the Top 100 Workplaces in Southeastern Wisconsin, ranking 4th among the Small Business Division.
The company also earned special recognition under the “Collegiality” category for teamwork. “We have high expectations for our employees, but we also recognize the importance of a family atmosphere and an open line of communication with management. We want our employees to know we value their contributions,” said Mike Erwin, co-owner and president of Tailored Label Products, Inc.
The award, sponsored by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, is unusual in the fact that company employees are surveyed anonymously about their feelings of the company. At TLP, 48 out of 63 employees returned surveys ranking the company in a variety of categories such as how valued they feel, how flexible their working conditions are, etc.
This is the eighth award TLP has received for being a good place to work, in addition to numerous awards recognizing their quality manufacturing and community service. TLP has carved out industry-leading niches through innovative product development and by manufacturing custom engineered label and pressure-sensitive parts for electronics, automotive, aerospace, medical, biotech and industrial applications.
